Melton Borough CAB service is governed and managed locally but with the benefit of being part of a large and influential national organisation. We are looking for a treasurer to sit on our trustee board and help steer the service.

We provide information, advice and advocacy services to the people of Melton Borough. The bureau is a member of Citizens Advice and holds the Community Legal Services quality mark.

The CAB is a voluntary organisation. All volunteers are fully trained and supported by a paid staff structure.

We need someone from Melton Borough who has a clear understanding of the needs of the local area to help us manage and develop this much-needed service.

Salary PO 36 to PO 41 (£30,011 - £34,549) depending on experience

Plus 3% Employer’s pension contribution

Hours 37 per week

The Trustees of Melton Borough Citizens Advice Bureau wish to recruit a manager to lead this highly

successful bureau.

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity in the pivotal role of the Bureau Manager in a not for

profit business delivering legal services to the public through trained volunteers and professional

advisers. The role will require exceptional management skills to effectively promote, deliver and

liaise with the outside governing/funding bodies and trustee board; and to manage the employees

and volunteers.
