The County Debtline is a joint
initiative between Leicestershire County Council and the seven Citizens
Advice Bureau within Leicestershire. Ring a single number and you will
talk to an experienced Money Advice Worker. The Bureau can help you
budget, make offers to your creditors and even help prepare your case
for court. If it is an emergency such as bailiffs or disconnections we
will help you deal with this (during opening hours). If you cannot call
when the Debtline is staffed, leave your details on the 24 hour answer
machine. These will be forwarded to your local bureau who will then send
you the self help pack and contact information.
